Mexican Food Feast @ The BrewMaster LudhianaDated: 13 May 2013 | Category: Photos |
The Summers definitely call for something different; something that breaks away from regular, something that lingers in the memory and on the tongue for a long time to come. Playing on this urge for change, a Mexican Food Festival was kicked off at The BrewMaster on Friday.
Those who were beginning to think that they will give the festival a pass as Mexican food tends to be hot, should not make up their mind so fast. The chef has crafted the menu in a way that will not only bring to you the flavor of Mexico, but would also go easy on your stomach. However, for those who do like their Mexican food need not fret as they can ask for the hotter version of the dishes if they feel like.
You can opt for beans nachos or cheese nachos for starters, and tacos, chimichanga, quesadilla, enchilada for the main course and chocolate ple for dessert. So what is it that you should look for at the Mexican Food Festival? You will find the clean flavors of celery, gulild chilly, corn and beli peppers that are the dominant flavors in the spread that the restaurant is offering at the food festival.
Chef Kaushik Jadai says that Mexican food goes well with a range of drinks depending on personal preferences. “Those who love their beer should not hesitate from ordering their favorite beer to go with the dishes and the tomato and pineapple salsa,” he said. “Those who stay away from alcoholic beverages could opt for juices of tropical fruits. Those who like their Mexican food hot and spicy should go in for sweeter juices with loads of ice,” he added.
“We are sure that people will love the Mexican food that they try here,” said Navin Uniyal. “The festival will go on till May 19, so that will give people a lot of time to come and try the food.”
