The special dishes of the India and Pakistan will be served to the cricket lovers the mock tails, cocktails, kebabs, briyanis, and buffet of India and Pakistan will be served. The staff of the restro bars and hotels will be dressed in the attire of Indian cricket team. Most of the restro bars and hotels will be jam packed as people have made advance booking for watching the sensational match between the two neighboring countries. Most of chefs, kitchen, staff of the restro bars have cancelled all their plans as they will be working hard in their kitchens so that they can cater the people.
Restaurant manager of Lucky Wednesday, Mohit Negi, said they have organized live screening and all the guest will be served with dishes and mock tails in different colors. He also said the flags of both the countries will be made on the plates and people will relish the delicacies as the foods of both the countries are almost same.
Owner of Hub restro bar, Jasdeeep Bindra, said all the reservations has been done and the terrace will be jam packed as the people are ready to watch the match with the best cuisines and drinks. General Manager of the Brew Master microbrewery Huzoor Ahmed said the live screening of match will be organized and they will have Indian and Pakistan buffet. He said many more surprises will be there for the guests who will watch the match at their restro bar.
It was a holiday well spent for thousands of Ludhianvis watching the India versus Pakistan match in a must-win tie against Pakistan of the Super Eights clash of the World T20 on Sunday.
Some preferred to enjoy the match at their places, some busy people accessed live cricket action from their latest gadgets while for those who want to live every moment was organised. The members of Sutlej, Ludhiana and Lodhi club enjoyed the live screening of the match with the fine dine and wine. The cricket fans cheered for men in blue by holding the Indian flags on the beats of Dhol. The arrangements at the terrace of the restro bars and hotels were the first choice for the cricket lovers as they cheered every boundary India scored and every wicket of Pakistan batsmen.
Food and Beverage manager ofthe Geoffrey’s Restro bar Ajeet Shrivastava said the beet festival is on and food prepared by chef Vishvesh Khanna made every guest lick their fingers. He said the jampacked crowd cheered the every moment of the match.
Chef Arvind Dwivedi of The BrewMaster microbrewery said the food culture in India and Pakistan is almost the same but he prepared the India and Pakistan buffet. The Pakistani food comprised of karachi murgh, baigan mirch ka salan, nahari gosht, lahori mutton, peshawari chole, yakhni pulao, cheeki dal veg, keema matar, chara aloo and badami kofta. He said Indian food comprised kadhai paneer, dal makhani, bangali fish curry, matar pulao, subz jalfarzi. He said in breads he prepared poori, badam naan, parantha, roomali roti ana missi roti.
Owner of the Spice Cube vegetarian restaurant said the live screening at the terrace was a great hit among the people.
